VTAC Applications: Important Dates

Parents and students are reminded of the deadlines for making your application for admission into a TAFE or University course via a VTAC Application for 2016.

VTAC APPLICATIONS CLOSE:                     Wednesday 30 September 2015 (5:00 pm)

SEAS Applications Close:                                Tuesday 6 October 2015 (5:00 pm)

Scholarships via VTAC:                                    Friday 16 October 2015 – (5 pm)

VCE results & ATAR via On-line:                   Monday 14 December 2015 – (7:00 am)

VTAC Change of Preferences Period:            23 November to 21 December 2015 (12.00 noon).

VTAC First Round Offers: On-line                 Monday 18 January 2016. 2:00 pm. (On-line / E-mail)

Mr Bollard will be avaialble at the school when the Results are published (14 Dec 2015) and also When the Offers are published in January 2016.  Dates include:  Monday 18 , Tuesday 19 & Wednesday 20,  January 2016.

Scholarships – Update

Bendigo and Adelaide Bank Scholarship – For Rural and Regional Students. Award:  $5000 pa

Applications Open:  1 December 2015                   Close:  25 January 2016

Harold Caroll Scholarship – Federation University.  For Students who have attended a Secondary School in Western Victoria. Award:  $3000 pa for 3 Years

Federation University Scholarships:  For Students Enrolling at Federation University in 2016.  Award: 25 x $2000

Wannon Water Engineering Scholarship:  For Students applying to study Civil engineering in 2016.  Award:  $5000 pa for 4 years.  For Students from the Wannon Water service Delivery area only.

DOXA Cadetship Program:  Targeted to students with a Disadvantaged Background.  (Fields – Science, Engineering, Law, accouning, Finance, Commerce, Architecture, Construction, Markeing, human Resources, Arts, Communications, Psychology and Information Technology).

Award:  A weekly Allowance to help wih living expenses.  A Mentor to guide the Cadet though work expereince and the university degree.

St Hilda’s College – University of Melbourne

Scholarships St Hilda’s has been lucky enough to have three new scholarships for undergraduate students:

The Fleur Nicholson Scholarship

Value: Half College fee for the duration of the recipient’s undergraduate course subject to satisfactory progress during each academic year and ongoing residency at St Hilda College.

The JA & IE Gilbertson Scholarship

Value: Half College fee for the duration of the recipient’s undergraduate course subject to satisfactory progress during each academic year and ongoing residency at St Hilda’s College.

The Fellows of St Hilda’s College Scholarship

Value: $10,200 per year for the duration of the recipient’s undergraduate course, subject to satisfactory progress during each academic year, and ongoing residency at St Hilda’s College.
